Auto Insurance

Automobile Insurance provided by Richardson Harris Boatwright
The price an insurance company charges for automotive coverage is based on the frequency and cost of potential accidents, thefts, and other losses. Prices vary from company to company and it is our job to find the company that best suits you! Premiums can also vary depending on the amount of coverage purchased; the make and model of the vehicle; as well as the insured's driving record.

There are basically six different types of coverages. These coverages include:

  1. Bodily Injury Liability - for injuries the policy holder may cause to someone else
  2. Medical Payments or Personal Injury Protection - for treatment of injuries to the driver and passengers of the policy holders vehicle
  3. Property Damage Liability - for damage the policy holder may cause to someone else's property
  4. Collision - for damage to the policy holder's car from a collision
  5. Comprehensive - for damage to the policy holders car not involving a collision with another car. This can include damage caused by: fire, weather, theft, collision with animals and windshields.
  6. Uninsured Motorists Coverage - for costs resulting from an accident involving a hit-and-run driver or a driver who does not have Insurance.
